The Wounds Australia (Victoria) Conference Organising Committee would like to invite delegates and trade partners to the 2017 State Conference, to be held at the Mantra Bell City in Preston on Friday 17th November 2017.
The theme for this one day conference is Wound Management: Setting the Standard. The experienced organising and scientific committees are planning an exciting program to inform delegates on how they can set the standard of wound management in their work place. Victorian and nationally recognised clinicians and academics are being invited to present plenary sessions and smaller forums, and poster abstracts will be presented with short verbal presentations.
This will be a professional development highlight for 2017. In planning the program, the organising committee have referred to the Wounds Australia Standards for Wound Prevention & Management and the National Safety & Quality Health Standards to choose topics that will be interesting, interactive and clinically useful for attendees. Speakers will be including reference to published, evidence based standards or guidelines in their presentations.
Wounds Australia (Victoria) (formerly Australian Wound Management Association (Victoria)), have a history of hosting hugely successful bi-annual conferences, attracting delegates from all over Victoria and Australia. This event will also feature an extensive trade exhibition, networking opportunities, excellent food and beverage and a social event. Health professionals with an interest in wound management should attend.
